Basically it’s two and a half hours of reliving (and worse, having to explain and justify) UPG between a mortal Godspouse and his God.

It’s forced on him by someone whose godphone is basically dead, at the proddings of his adamantly atheist father (“religion is the root of all the world’s problems”) and adamantly Christian mother (“we did all that we could but the devil got him”).

It’s such an intense, profound experience for the godphone-less one that it turns his world upside down - the concepts of “right” and “wrong” explode into the spectrums they are, yet he chooses to continue to abide by society’s chosen definitions, instead of defending the person it affects most.

And yet, all you’ll ever hear about it is “hurr durr he fucks a horse” and “hurr durr harry potter’s magic wand”
